Practical Accounting Skills for Non-Accountants

About This Course

In today’s complex business environment, managers across various sectors of the economy must possess a sound understanding of financial principles to make informed decisions and drive organizational success. However, many non-accounting managers often struggle with the intricacies of financial management, accounting processes, and compliance with tax regulations. Recognizing this gap, the proposed short course, "Upscaling to the Knowledge of an Accountant," is designed to bridge this knowledge gap by equipping non-accounting managers with essential accounting and financial management skills.

This practical training program will provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of basic accounting principles, financial management techniques, management skills, and the use of accounting software and Excel for effective business operations. By mastering these competencies, participants will be better positioned to contribute to their organizations' financial stability and growth.

The aim of this course is to empower non-accounting managers with the necessary accounting and financial management skills to enhance their decision-making capabilities and effectively manage financial aspects of their operations. The course is also aimed at providing refresher to qualified accountants and non-chartered accountants.
