Philosophy of the Programme
This programme has been structured with the intent of providing unique study, application and technical knowledge through education, training and research. This is by providing Oil and Gas training of highly skilled basic and middle level professionals responsive to the needs of the local Oil and Gas industry.
These are the values upon which the guiding philosophy rests:
i. explores for oil and gas knowledge that addresses particularly local and international issues
ii. apply oil and gas knowledge to the local industry as well as solving challenging social issues.
iii. provision of knowledge enhancement support through linkage with industries that can offer practical experience to student as well engaging in industry based activities.
iv. Train and produce knowledgeable and practice based oil and gas professionals who also have competitive edge.
The objective this course is to equip students with the knowledge needed to solve oil and gas problems in the industry. This will enable participants to balance academic, social and environmental development relevant to the oil and gas industry and also gaining the relevant knowledge and skills needed for further development in academia and industry.
Expected Learning Outcome
At the end of this course participants are expected to understand the practical concepts of oil and gas exploration and production and the oil and gas industry as a whole.

The fee per participant is GHS 2000.The fees covers tuition, training materials, lunch and certification. Participants shall be presented with a certificate upon completion.
